Powell River Curling Club is a Non Profit Society (S-04186) that brings people of all ages together who share a common interest, to bond and create friendships and memories that last a lifetime. In existence since 1955, it maintains a long tradition of open and volunteer-based community engagement.
Our mission is to promote the sport of curling as a lifetime recreational activity in the community of Powell River. The club encourages people of all ages and demographics to learn the game and enjoy the social aspect of curling. It's a great sport to learn if you're new in town or just want to find a great activity for the winter.
A variety of leagues are offered - daytime, evening and Friday/Saturday leagues, competitive, fun and learn to curl options are all available. The club caters to all genders, skills and ages, to seniors, youth, school groups, and Special Olympics curlers wanting to learn the sport, play the game and enjoy the social aspects of it.
