The Battlefords has long been a hub for curling in Saskatchewan’s North West and its storied past is second only to the men and women who have built it from the ice up.

Near the banks of the frozen North Saskatchewan River, the Battleford Curling Club was formed in 1899. In 1905 the North Battleford Curling Club was established and for over a century the competition between these two clubs bred some of the finest curlers ever to come out of Saskatchewan. In 2012, after 107 years of intense rivalries, the Twin Rivers Curling Club was born. A new era of curling in the Battlefords had begun.

Now located at the beautiful Northland Power Curling Center with 6 sheets of ice, 2 levels of viewing and a lounge, the tradition of curling lives on, stronger than ever.
