Smithers Curling Club

The Smithers Curling Club was born on Tuesday, October 25, 1927 when the Smithers Athletic Club voted to form a curling branch.

The ice was first tried out on the evening of December 26, 1927 and the event was described in the Interior News as a "comedy that has no equal".
