Curling in Camrose has a long history of over 100 years. The Rose City Curling Club is a not-for-profit organization managed by a Board of Directors. Our membership is a group of people who love to curl either competitively or for fun and we strive to offer leagues to accommodate all age groups and all levels of experience.

One of few curling arenas in the province with 9 sheets of ice, we have successfully hosted provincial playdowns and national championships. The coming year will be no exception as we host the Provincial Travelers championship in October 2018 and the Provincial Masters playdowns in February 2019. Our membership has also willingly stepped up to volunteer at several high profile events held at the neighboring Encana Arena and we take pride in our success at organizing and managing events such as the 2008 Continental Cup of Curling, the 2011 Alberta Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the 2012 and 2016 Boston Pizza Cup Provincial Men’s Championship, the 2014 Home Hardware Canada Cup and the 2018 Grand Slam of Curling Meridian Canadian Open.
