Florenceville Curling Club began in 1957. The club initally started with only 65 members and two sheets of ice for curling. The first year curling was limited to only males, and then 58 women created the Florenceville Ladies' Curling Club the following year. During the 1970s membership expanded to nearly 150 curlers. Due to the growth in membership, we expanded our facility in 1974. The peak of our facility was in 1984 with whopping membership of 300 curlers. We have appreciated our volunteers over the years who have made this establishment successful!
